Our therapeutic approach is drawn mainly from the Humanistic school of thought in dealing with issues of change and acceptance. We draw on a number of other approaches and styles of counselling to help clients explore and resolve their problems, and to achieve their goals and aspirations. These include Person-centred, Existential and Cognitive/Behavioural principles.
People enter into counselling or psychotherapy for many different reasons – each person’s issues are unique, and so our focus is always on the individual and what they bring to the counselling room.
We value the importance and significance of the client/counsellor relationship - the nurturing of which, we believe, is instrumental to the therapeutic process.
